There is a place for you
We create opportunities for people to come together, for neighbors to connect, for individuals to make a difference—for everyone to work together to make an impact on our region.
At the Ripley House Neighborhood Center, Ernestina serves on the Senior Center Site Council and also serves meals to her peers for the senior center’s daily congregate meal program. She is a food certified volunteer, so she often goes the extra mile by helping the daily operation of the center when staff is sick or on vacation. We are so fortunate to have Ernestina as a volunteer and member of our Ripley House Senior Program as we would not be able to run as well as we do without her!
Selene has volunteered with our immigration program since 2013 to assist individuals seeking naturalization at our Baker-Ripley Neighborhood Center.
She is passionate about empowering her students through knowledge and always strives for her classes to be fun and memorable for her students. Selene’s efforts within our Immigration and Citizenship program helps us serve more than 5,000 undocumented youth and their families.
Shell is an outstanding community partner, providing not only generous funding for our programs, but also valued volunteer hours. Most recently, nearly 100 Shell and other community volunteers participated in the 3rd annual For Good Celebration honoring the 75th Anniversary of our Ripley House Neighborhood Center with service projects including sprucing up a senior’s yard, painting, and landscaping! We are honored to have Shell as a continued partner in transforming communities. For Good.
