There is a place for you

We create opportunities for people to come together, for neighbors to connect, for individuals to make a difference—for everyone to work together to make an impact on our region.

Chevron’s annual Khakis and Collars program provides a new school uniform to nearly 1,500 Neighborhood Centers Inc. community center members and Charter School students every year. Chevron not only donates the uniforms for this event, but also provides hundreds of volunteers throughout the year to assist in various efforts across Houston. Since 1999, Chevron has contributed more than $1.3 million to support community transformation in our neighborhoods.

Mary Breaux was a super volunteer. She served in many capacities at Ripley House for eight years. She was a member of the Ripley House Advisory Board, participated in fundraisers, and worked at the front desk where she demonstrated the best in customer service. Always very warm, friendly, and wearing a wonderful smile which came from the heart, she made every person who came through the doors at Ripley House feel welcome. She was truly a gift to all of us, to Ripley House and to the community.
