 New Vice President of Fund Development
 

Olga Rodriguez comes to Neighborhood Centers with a background in both the public and private sectors. She has a vast background in community engagement, strategic planning, political consulting and fundraising. She has extensive relationships with many of the city’s private sector Fortune 500 companies as well as with a vast array of governmental leaders.
 
Prior to her current position, Ms. Rodriguez was Assistant Deputy Commissioner in the Office of Harris County Commissioner Sylvia Garcia for six years. Before that she was Manager of Leadership and Engagement with the Center for Houston’s Future. She was responsible for long term planning and implementation of a program bringing together diverse stakeholders to address needs of the region such as planning, air quality and mobility.
 
She is a third generation Houstonian, the youngest of six children, grew up in the East End and her first job was summer employment with the City assigned to Ripley House.
 
Ms. Rodriguez has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. She has an additional certification from the London School of Economics in Public Finance and Development in the International Political Economy.
