Neighborhood Centers' welcomes Claudia Vasquez as our new Vice President of Community Based Initiatives.
Claudia’s vast experiences working with the Office of the Mayor for the City of Houston, the Health and Humans Services Department in Neighborhood Services and Houston ISD equip her with a tool kit that will prove invaluable as she assumes her role as the Vice President for Community Based Initiatives for Neighborhood Centers, Inc.
Claudia understands social services and community organizing as it relates to immigration, youth programming, disaster recovery and sustainability and has developed and implemented programs that leveraged city dollars through community partnerships. More importantly, Claudia understands the interrelationships between social services and sustainability.
Claudia values working for and in her community and is very excited about being able to use her experience to further Neighborhood Centers’ mission.
