Culture Fest Hits All the High Notes

Hundreds of neighbors filed the grounds of the Baker-Ripley House campus on Saturday, June 14 for our second annual Gulfton/Sharpstown Culture Fest. Ten neighborhood vendors sold prepared foods; artisans sold jewelry, clothing, and arts and crafts; and a variety of service providers dispensed valuable information to the community. There were also cultural dances and plenty of activities for children, including a petting zoo, moonwalks and tile painting. Special thanks to the Aga Khan Houston North and Clear Lake Youth Clubs for providing volunteer support to the event!
