Free Immigration & Citizenship Forums (en Español)
Monthly events providing citizenship application assistance, education about the Citizenship process and legal consultations.
 
Neighborhood Centers Inc. organizes a series of public outreach events throughout the Houston region in an effort to assist individuals with naturalization applications and connect individuals to legal assistance and education on the benefits and responsibilities of citizenship.

Forum partners include the National Association of Latino Elected Officials Educational Fund (NALEO), Mayor’s Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs (MOIRA) and media sponsor Univision.

Application Assistance
 
We offer free assistance with the Naturalization application (N-400) for eligible participants.
 
Legal Assistance
 
Our volunteer Immigration Attorneys provide free legal consultations for any participants with questions about cases, applications or general information.
 
Education
 
The Immigration and Citizenship Forums invite guest speakers and partners to educate on immigration issues and other matters of interest to the community.
 
 
Upcoming Forums
 
Local attorneys and immigration specialists will speak on the rights and responsibilities of citizens, the new HPD policies and current issues affecting immigrant families.
 
Participants will receive free one-on-one legal assistance from immigration attorneys. Citizenship application assistance will be available on a limited basis. For more information call 713-669-5231.
