This summer is the fourth year for our HI-STARR (Head Start Intensive Summer Transition and Reading Readiness) program, which gives students entering Kindergarten in the fall additional educational preparation. KPRC-channel 2 recently featured the program on its "Your Education Station" series.

Neighborhood Centers Inc. and ARAMARK joined together to create the Ready 2 Act! Youth Day at our Harbach-Ripley Neighborhood Center in May. Read the Houston Chronicle's coverage of the event.


The Houston Chronicle reported on the redevelopment of our Cleveland-Ripley Neighborhood Center to better serve our Pasadena neighbors.
