Are you an aspiring catering chef or wishing to share your fabulous treats at one of Houston's great Farmer's Markets?
Independence Heights Neighborhood Center, located in north Houston, offers a great space for preparing, cooking, testing and tasting your own great recipes.
The certified commercial kitchen is 1200sq. ft. and is available those with a food manager's certificate.
You are welcome to visit and tour the kitchen by calling 713-691-1393.
If you have not rented a kitchen space at Neighborhood Centers Inc. before, please be prepared to submit the items below in person at Independence Heights Neighborhood Center, or email Norberto Chapa at nchapa@Neighborhood-Centers.org.
Items needed:
- Current Food Manager's Certificate
- DBA
- Certificate of Insurance
- Business Resume (Please include all Cooking related experience)
- A synopsis which includes but not limited to:
- Who referred you to Neighborhood Centers
- Why you want to use the kitchen at Neighborhood Centers
- Company website, if applicable
- Brief history about the company and reason for business
- How will your company impacts the community
