Youth Programs for Ages 5 - 10

School Year -- Adventures After-School (The After-School Program) delivers a wide range of developmental activities focused on reading, language proficiency and comprehension. Special activities such as tennis, journal writing or soccer offer opportunities for building friendships and learning new skills. Students receive help daily with homework, and additional tutoring in challenging subjects is available to those who need it. Field trips to local parks, libraries, arts and cultural organizations enhance classroom lessons and provide great natural learning opportunities. Adventures After-School is available Monday through Friday, from 3-6 p.m. at the following locations:

Summer -- Passport to Summer Fun is a 10-week summer day camp that delivers fun-filled days with friends, cultural experiences, celebrations and weekly field trips wrapped around an asset-based curriculum. Daily lesson plans blend recreational activities with practical academic enrichment to ensure that students retain knowledge gained during the school year and are prepared for the fall semester. Weekly themes encourage children to learn about and embrace diverse cultures. A special initiative promotes healthy nutrition and fitness through taste tests, cooking demonstrations and physical activities such as gymnastics, basketball clinics and tennis classes. Passport to Summer Fun operates Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is available at the following locations beginning in June:
