In October 2004, Neighborhood Centers Inc. acquired a facility located in the heart of the historic Independence Heights neighborhood on Houston’s north side. Early meetings with area residents, councils, schools, churches, businesses, law enforcement, elected officials and service providers revealed tremendous opportunities for collaboration and coordination that could offer a wide range of benefits to the community. As we continue to build relationships in the neighborhood, service and assets continue to grow.

Independence Heights offers a variety of services for all ages. Call us to verify class times and to register.
