Would you like to see firsthand the ways we are making a significant difference in the lives of our neighbors? Please join us for A Gathering of Hearts and Minds, a monthly one-hour informal introduction to what we do and how we do it.

The gatherings take place on the third Wednesday of each month from 11am to noon at our Ripley House Community Center, located in the East End. Guests hear from members of our board of directors and executive team about the agency's history and plans for the future, and then we take a 30-minute tour to see programs such as the K-5 Charter School, Passport to Summer Fun, Senior Center, Texas Children’s Pediatric Associates clinic, and our Stay Connected initiative. While we promise not to keep anyone longer than an hour, we recognize and respect that many folks give up their lunch breaks to join us. Therefore, we provide a light lunch for guests who can stay for refreshments and continued conversation past noon.
